Van Cliburn Competition Gold Medalist Jon Nakamatsu opens our season with Saint-Saens’ romantic Piano Concerto in G minor.
November 1, 2 & 3
This series features rising young star Bella Hristova in Tchaikovsky’s beloved Violin Concerto in D Major.
January 23, 24 & 25
Cleveland Piano Competition Winner Alexander Ghindin plays Rachmaninoff’s thrilling Piano Concerto in C minor.
February 28, March 1 & 2
Cellist Elinor Frey performs Elgar’s moving Concerto for Violoncello and Orchestra in E minor.
April 25 & 26
The Rogue Valley Chorale joins the orchestra and vocal soloists in Carl Orff’s spectacular Carmina Burana.
2008-2009 Special Holiday Concerts
December 5, 6, 12 & 13
Holiday Candlelight Concerts feature music for chamber orchestra and brass choir presented by candlelight in beautiful churches of southern Oregon.
February 14
Virtuoso pianists Alexander Tutunov and Kristina Foltz return to the Ashland stage for an enchanting evening of their favorite music followed by a festive champagne reception.
