A Grants Pass Support Group for the Rogue Valley Symphony

The Friends of the Symphony represents a group of volunteers organized to support the Rogue Valley Symphony in its marketing and concert appearances in Grants Pass. Its purpose is to ensure that classical music continues to be part of the cultural experience in our area.

Specific activities of the Friends of the Symphony include:

  • Fund raising to help support the Symphony financially
  • Providing ushers and other patron assistance at concerts
  • Arranging for post-concert receptions for patrons, musicians and artists
  • Managing the student voucher/ticket program, supported by grants, in which students with accompanying adults are admitted to concerts without charge
  • Exploring avenues of increasing concert ticket sales
  • Increasing the visibility of the Rogue Valley Symphony in the Josephine County area
